Who is responsible
This website belongs to the Círculo Chileno de Amigos del Camino de Santiago de Compostela, a nonprofit corporation. For any questions about your data, write to us at peregrinos@caminosantiago.cl .
What we measure on this website
We use Google Analytics to find out how many people visit the site, which pages they read, from which country and with what type of device. This is aggregate data: it does not tell us your name or your email. We also use Google Ads measurement to find out whether the Círculo's ads bring visits to the website.
To do this, Google stores small files (cookies) in your browser. Google processes this data according to its own privacy policy: policies.google.com/privacy .
How to avoid being measured
You can delete or block cookies in your browser settings, or install the Google Analytics opt-out add-on . The website works the same without them.
Forms and app
The website does not store personal data by itself. When you fill in a Círculo form (for example, “Pilgrim Requests” or registration for a pilgrimage), your data is used only to handle your request and is not sold or disclosed to third parties. The Mi Credencial app has its own terms, which are explained inside the app.
Your rights
Under Chilean personal data protection law, you may ask us to tell you what data of yours we hold, to correct it or to delete it. Write to us at peregrinos@caminosantiago.cl and we will reply.
