A very long stage, of about 40 km, which is best split. It passes near the fortress of San Paio de Narla and through small villages to the great Cistercian monastery of Sobrado dos Monxes. Miraz, halfway along, is the approximate starting point for those who add the Vía de los Andes. From Baamonde there is also a complementary route about 8 km shorter.

Before you set off
- Check the condition of the path and the albergues for the day; services change with the season.
